Every year artists and fans alike from all over the world come together for the CMJ Music Marathon in New York City to showcase their talent and love for music. The event will take place throughout the city from October 21st to October 25th. CMJ stands for College Media Journal and has helped launched the careers of many artists, including Arcade Fire, Icona Pop, MGMT, Gotye, and Cold War Kids (who will be returning to headline this year), just to name a few. With over 1,000 bands performing this year, it could definitely be difficult to catch the best shows, so we're sharing our list of can't-miss acts. Camilla Stærk is the brilliant designer behind STÆRK, a collection that has made a major impression on the fashion industry. Recently, Academy Award Nominee Karen O wore a Stærk custom gown to the 2014 Oscars and was voted by Vogue as one of the best dressed celebrities at the awards.
