Now heading into its fifth season, Vetements is an underground collective consisting of seven designers who remained mostly anonymous until Gvasalia took to the forefront as the brand's head designer last year. The subversive, streetwear-inspired label has a mostly deconstructionist aesthetic and encourages its audience to look beyond branding and focus on the clothes - hence the name, which simply means "clothes" in French.
This year Vetements was a finalist for the LVMH Young Fashion Designer Prize.
