In New York, asking someone about his or her job is like asking about the weather; you'll be amazed at how full the conversation will be. This is the city of dreams where many go to establish their careers or make it on the big stage and more than most end up settling for something. Go to San Francisco and ask someone what their occupation is and it feels like 99% of them will respond with something techie. In our growing digital world this city is flourishing with new jobs but San Francisco is beginning to resemble the old one-industry towns of the Midwest and lacks the diversity of New York.
