Other details: The Samsung Galaxy Experience kicked off its opening day Saturday at SXSW in Austin yesterday with a variety interactive consumer activations. On Saturday night, the Samsung Galaxy Experience space hosted a VIP dinner for the film “Prince Avalanche” with Emile Hirsch and Paul Rudd, director David Gordon Green and many more members of the film’s cast.

Samsung Galaxy Soundstage at SXSW Presents Band of Horses and The Roots
Other details: Following the dinner, a special concert was held exclusively for Samsung Galaxy fans featuring The Roots and Band of Horses to kick off the Samsung Galaxy Sound Stage Series. At 10pm, doors opened to an excited crowd of fans at the Samsung Galaxy Sound Stage, starting with an intimate set with Band of Horses. The Roots followed with an energetic show that kept the crowd dancing until 2am. Rocking his “Anchorman” mustache, Paul Rudd stayed after the “Prince Avalanche” dinner for both performances and danced in the VIP area all night long.
