Cashew, the often underestimated and unspoken protagonist of House of Cards, had a rough introduction to the show during the second season. It's not easy being a hacktivist's pet, especially if said hacktivist is somewhat obsessed with you and therefore you can easily be used as emotional leverage against him. It pains us all to remember how she was almost squeezed to death under a shoe (clearly being associated with her owner is a hazard to her health). Will Cashew make it through the next season unscathed? Will she help Gavin hack some more serious code to the sounds of death music (techno or screaming-still unclear)? Is Cashew the next POTUS? Only time will tell.
