A Mothers' Day Rant
On Mothers' Day of 2015, John started his episode with the bizarre promotions that various companies offer to moms on their big day (Mom eats free at all Hooters locations?!). Then, he swiftly dove into a sweetly scathing rant about how the US still doesn't require companies to provide any type of maternity leave at all. This GIF shows a little snippet from the sardonic Mothers' Day PSA he made to point out our ironic inability to mobilize on this issue as a country that touts its admiration for all the moms out there. Like any other JO rant, it made us super angry with politics, but correspondingly so happy with him.
