#3: Stone Cold Fox

View on YouTube Emma Stone: Unfortunately for Emma Stone, Jimmy’s performance of Fancy by Iggy Azaelea leaves this Lip Sync Battle lower on the list. His dance moves are nowhere near where they could have been, and it leaves the watcher feeling underwhelmed. After Emma’s first song, however, Jimmy clearly feels the pressure going into “Mr. Roboto” by Styx. His dedication to both the lead vocals and the background vocals, as well as asking his poignant question that all of us have been dying to ask: “Modren?”, proves yet again that Jimmy needs an 80s song to succeed. No one was surprised when Emma Stone showed a natural talent for lip syncing—what isn’t she good at? She is straightforward with her introduction of Blues Traveler’s “Hook”—and that is because, let’s face it, she needs no frills. Quickly shifting into the fastest moving verse, she shows that not only does she know the song, but she loves the song. She lives the song. The song is in her soul, and she leaves the Roots, Jimmy, and the audience reeling. But if you thought her respect for Blues Traveler was amazing, then you were blown out of the water by her magnificent performance of “All I Do Is Win” by DJ Khaled and Ludacris. The world was changed for the better when she went into the Luda verse, and no one has been the same since. Jimmy declared it as the best one ever on the show, and we are inclined to agree.
