The X-tra-old-Files

XFiles Is your brain zapped from watching too much of your favorite FBI agents? We all know that The X-Files was the best sci-fi show to hit television since The Twilight Zone. However, you must admit that, despite the two movies and promised reboot, rewatching Scully and Mulder for the sixth, seventh, or twelfth time can be a bit exhausting. But we've got your back, and can tell you what to binge instead. [The X-Files via Facebook] Being Human Being Human If it's sci-fi you want, the original U.K. Being Human is the way to go. With charming, disillusioned youths (well, two youths and a hundred-something year old vampire) just trying to live normally, Being Human has the perfect blend of charm and melancholy, reminiscent of The X-Files' biting wit and life lessons. Get bitten by Being Human, and you're sure to be thirsty for more. [Being Human via Facebook] The Fall The Fall The reason most people miss The X-Files is because of the gorgeous camaraderie between Scully and Mulder. Well, there's not so much camaraderie in The Fall, but there certainly is a bit of Scully. Starring Gillian Anderson as the razor sharp Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson, The Fall doesn't have the science fiction elements that were so beloved by The X-Files fans, but the danger and intrigue is sure to make up for a lack of aliens. Much like The X-Files, Warehouse 13 has occasionally fake-looking special effects, but that is all part of the experience. Secret Service Agents Pete Lattimer and Myka Bering make a fun pair as they search for missing supernatural items from a hidden warehouse in South Dakota--and really, how can you go wrong with mystery-solving buddies?
