Before the Web came around, the New York media scene was clubby, self-obsessed and boozy. Now everything has changed! Except not really. Here’s a video featuring Gawker Media boss Nick Denton; Curbed’s Lockhart Steele, who helped Denton build his business; Rex Sorgatz, a “microcelebrity” once covered obsessively by Denton’s blogs; and Reuters columnist Felix Salmon, who writes about Denton a lot.
