Architects Chosen To Transform New Museum's NeighborFive years ago, the New Museum bought out the restaurant supply building next door. Finally, the museum's plans for 231 Bowery have been unveiled. The institution announced recently that Brooklyn architecture firm SO-IL, along with firm Gensler, will turn part of the building into an "incubator for art, technology, and design." The space will be available for lease by more than 60 start-ups and small companies, ready for occupancy by summer 2014. [Curbed]
