Year Won: 2008 Breed: Beagle Owners: Caroline Dowell, Eddie Dziuk, Jon Woodring, Kathy Weich Name Helped Because: K-Run's Park Me In First, a.k.a Uno, stole America's heart as the first beagle ever to claim the coveted Best In Show.  Anti-French sentiment (remember those Freedom fries?) worked against the poodle in 2008, paving the way for this everydog, who rode his victory all the way to the Snoopy float at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  The name "Park Me In First" is good ol' American insistence, and 'lil Uno became a mascot for our we're-number-one zeitgeist.
