End of July: The Talk
You didn't want to bring it up yourself and your patience paid off because he got curious, too! He finally asks you the dreaded question: "So, like, what are we?" You're not sure how to reply so you act like it's no big deal and you're just chilling. He makes sure that you're clear that it's just for the summer, since he's starting a new job in Chicago in September and isn't looking for anything serious right now. Your heart probably drops slightly but you convince yourself you'll be able to move on when the time comes.
