Built on the side of a cliff between two levels rests a small town in southwestern France. There's a castle on the top level and a small bit of town outside of that. Built in the 12th century, this medieval town is perfect for history nerds - take a walking tour instead of driving and walk through the cobbled streets, into old time restaurants and along the plentiful flowers. The prices are reasonable, which is another great reason to travel here. Take a tour of the river in a Gabarre (little boat); seeing this town built into the stone is breathtaking.
