Just 20 minutes away from some of Southern Italy's most beautiful beaches, Francis Ford Coppola's hotel, Palazzo Margherita, is located in the picturesque and tourist-free village of Bernalda. The town has meaning to Coppola-- his grandfather, Agostino Coppola, was born there, and Coppola purchased the villa in 2004 with the intention of turning it into a hotel to introduce people to the town.
