Take a Dip with the Devil in Zimbabwe
Livingstone Island, a land mass wedged in the middle of the Victoria Falls river, is home to what some may call the most dangerous pool in the world - aptly named the “Devil’s Pool.” This water body is not for the faint of heart. The Devil’s Pool sits on the edge of a waterfall, and acts as a “pool” (the build up of rocks forms a barrier which traps water and protect swimmers from being cascaded over the edge during low current season). The best time to go is between September and December.
