HAVANA, CUBA
Perhaps the most exciting exotic destination of the year is Havana, thanks to the recent ease of a Cuban travel ban for Americans. This coastal island city is pulsing with Spanish architecture and Caribbean vibes. Unfortunately however, Americans are still only permitted to legally travel to Cuba for one of 12 reasons (some being family visits, volunteering or educational activity, professional research, and such), tourist-based traveling not being one of them. Keep your eye open for more loopholes or travel opportunities though, so you can finally bite into a legit Cuban sandwich!
