La Tomatina
In August, over 20,000 people from around the world gather in the small Spanish town of Bunol to participate in arguably the world's biggest food fight. For just one hour, everyone in this town pelts tomatoes at each other and everything in sight for La Tomatino. In 1945, some youngsters eager to participate in the larger town parade, started throwing tomatoes at each other... and the rest is history.
It is estimated that over 150,000 tomatoes are used for this amazing day, so only the most daring out there who are not afraid to get dirty should take this on.
