The 2.7-mile bridge stretches from downtown Charleston to the town of Mount Pleasant. As the sun rises, you'll find plenty of locals running or biking on the bridge for their morning workout. The Cooper River Bridge hosts its annual Bridge Run in early April. Over 10,000 runners come from out of town to run in the 10k race. The Cooper River Bridge is the perfect spot to watch the sun rise or set over Charleston.
