Akumal- Nothing is cooler than seeing huge 100-year-old sea turtles swim beneath you. Akumal literally means "Place of Turtles" but you'll also be seeing sting rays and beautiful colorful fish.
Yal-Ku Lagoon- A very short drive from PDC, this lagoon is a perfect place to see the exotic sea life in calm, clear, blue waters. It's unique in that the fresh water mixes with the incoming salt water of the ocean and results in a sanctuary for many fish and birds.
Cozumel- A 30 minute ferry ride to the Island of Cozumel from PDC will get you to some of the best snorkeling in the world. You'll see multi-colored tropical fish, lobster, octopus, yellowtails, angels, and maybe even Cozumel's own Splendid Toad Fish (said to be found nowhere else in the world).
