Singapore
In Singapore, buy all the booze you want, but just don't chew gum. It's illegal to purchase or bring gum in this city state, so as to keep the city pristine. But the city has a bustling nightlife scene, even though it can be a bit pricey due to the "sin" taxes on alcohol. [Photo: Sentosa Beach via] The two main areas are along the river, Clark Quay and Boat Quay. But you can start the day off by having a day time brew and a hookah in Little India. From there head to Boat Quay for the happy hours, which go well with the eats in this legendary foodie city. Clark Quay is the happening area and the place where you can find a random dentist chair that has syringes of Jell-O shots. Stop into Bar Cocoon, with its Silk Road feel and opium beds. It's home to one of the hottest clienteles in the city, which is why it is considered one of the "best bars to break up in." It's also the city's first ice bar, which is perfect for beating the hot nights. For a combination of lounge and club, Le Noir has an outdoor bar that overlooks the Quay and night scene, and has a happening dance floor inside. And on Sundays, the locals head for daytime parties on Sentosa Beach, where zip-lining and alcohol go together for a true Sunday Funday. [Photo via]
