McDonald's McAfrika, Norway
You know what a country with widespread famine, genocide, civil war, and AIDS needs? A burger.
In 2002, Ronald McDonald released the "McAfrika" in homage to the 12 million starving in said country. A sandwich of beef, cheese, tomato, served between pita-like bread, the politically-incorrect burger was only available in Norway for a limited amount of time.
Because an African burger served in a McDonald's Norway makes complete sense.
And just in case people didn't quite follow the reasoning the first time 'round, McDonald's brought it back in 2008 for the Olympic Games.
