Hope to see you Thurs Aug 19th (the 3rd Thurs of Aug) for the next Just Cause happy hour. 100% of all proceeds will benefit Street Sense, a biweekly newspaper founded in 2003 to offer economic opportunities for people experiencing homelessness in our community.
Beacon Bar & Grill ~ convenient to the Dupont Metro ~ is offering SUPER specials to beat the heat ~ $5 appetizers & martinis, $2 sliders, bu...ckets of beer, $4 house cocktails, and more! Happy Hour Menu extended until 8pm!!
Just 'Cause was founded in Feb 2009 to serve the local community by (1) bringing together different groups of friends once a month for fun & networking (2) at different venues, thereby helping to fuel the local economy & introduce people to new bars and restaurants around town, (3) for the main goal of raising money for & awareness about non-profit organizations that benefit our local community… (4) Just ”˜Cause!
With your help, we've raised over $19,000 for local organizations by collecting modest $10 donations at our monthly happy hours. Each month benefits a different organization, and 100% of all donations ~ plus a portion of the bar sales ~ go directly to the month’s cause (listed on our Facebook group page)!
Please help us continue to help our community ~~ Spread the word, invite your friends, plan your reunions to coordinate with Just Cause monthly happy hours, eat, drink, be merry and do something good at the same time! The more people who come, the more $10 donations we collect, the more awareness we generate about the good things happening around us, & the more fun we all have!
