Phillips after 5 combines live jazz, gallery talks, superb modern art, and a cash bar for a memorable evening on the first Thursday of every month from 5 to 8:30 pm. (Although Phillips after 5 is a once-a-month program, the museum has extended hours with programming every Thursday evening from 5 to 8:30 pm.) Other elements, such as films and demonstrations, are often included as well.
Phillips after 5 is included in museum admission. Due to the popularity of Phillips after 5, advance reservations during special exhibitions are encouraged to insure admittance.
