Linda Mathes, who was featured, says, "This is another unique event through which Shoot for Change brings people together in a creative and effective way to support organizations making a difference in the community. It’s a great way to get to know some of the amazing people providing important services in the community and ways to get involved." "With the help of some of the most talented stylists, hair stylists, and makeup artists in the area, these nonprofit organization leaders were transformed and sent into the glamorous world of classic movie stars. The nonprofit leaders had so much fun that some of them even kept the clothes." says Walter Grio, Founder of Shoot for Change.”¨”¨The black and white photos of the leaders will be accompanied by a one-page essay written by each of the leaders on what inspired them to join the organization, what inspires them to do what they do, and what inspires them to keep doing it.”¨”¨ The one-night-only exhibit will take place from 7:00pm — 10:00pm on November 16, 2011 at L2 Lounge in Georgetown (3315 Cady's Alley NW, Washington DC, 20007).
