Intricate patterns on evening attire are not an easy thing to pull off. So when I saw Andrea Szempruch in this Robert Rodriguez Collection frock from Rent the Runway, I was instantly impressed. The layered sheer black material over the ivory lining really made the layered ring design stand out in a way that was bold yet still gave her some room for color in her accessories. Her incorporation of a deep scarlet red in her purse, shoes and lipstick was a great choice to complement her dress and her complexion. The body-hugging shape of the dress was a perfect fit for the Hot 100 party, and was beautifully juxtaposed with the ladylike cap sleeves to keep the overall look elegant. She kept her makeup minimal which was smart in order to not detract from her bold lipstick and choice of print.
