Slide #5

#1 L2 Lounge Many DC socials only get in to L2 when there is some sort of an event going on: a launch party, a theme party, a fundraiser... On a regular night, the crowd is comprised of L2 members and other VIPs. You can buy a membership for $2500 for two years, but you're not allowed to buy a membership unless you've been vetted by one of the founding members. Most members are successful businessmen over the age of 35. The door guys at L2 are strict! They would rather have a dead night than let non-members in. If you show up with someone that is a member, be ready to cough up $30 to join him (or her? Are there any girls on the list?). Your best bet: You really should go with a member. There just isn't any other way on a hot Friday or Saturday night. If you know someone famous inside: Text him/her to come and let you in. Name dropping will not work here. If you are rejected: Find solace at the Georgetown Ritz Carlton or Georgetown Four Seasons hotel bars. They will have similarly ambitious business-social types.
