Recently, we stepped into Georgetown's Dean and Deluca (sans camera, sorry people) and noticed a dearth of, well, everything. Not a "we're in between produce/product shipments" scarcity, but a full on "we're not bothering to restock because we won't be here much longer" deficiency.
So, what gives? Is the Gtown "purveyor(s) of fine foods, wine, and kitchenware" closing up shop?
Are they remodeling inside? When called for comment, they claimed they had no intention of closing. But then again, they could just be biding their time until they make a public announcement.
