Say Goodbye To Georgetown's Mascot

Hoyas, UNITE! Could the beloved mascot be eating no more boxes?

    Well, maybe.

Since April, J.J. (Jack Junior) has been training to take over the reigns as Georgetown's mascot extraordinaire. The training regimen has been intensive, including being a dog being adorable.

After much consideration by breeders and experts, however, the administration has decided to remove J.J. from campus and return him to a home environment. Rumors at the university are that J.J. had a less-than-savory run-in with a young fan.

There has been intense backlash from students and alumni about the removal of the hound. The administration promises that the tradition of a live mascot will live on.
