Why: Cosmic Couture celebrates the growing popularity of sustainable design especially amongst interior designers, manufacturers and general contractors. Each of the 24 design teams will be creating a sustainable garment to be sent down the runway for judging. The garment will be inspired by this year's theme of birds at the National Zoo.
