Why: The de Pizan gala is a yearly opportunity to take a moment and honor legendary women of the past and present. The event will be chaired by former U.S. Senator Elizabeth Doyle and former Virgnia First Lady Lynda Bird Johnson Robb, daughter of late president Lyndon B. Johnson.
