Why: DC’s largest non-political black tie is here, giving all of us a reason to come together, get dressed up and raise money for the fight against leukemia. As an institution here in the Beltway, it is a well-known saying that “you aren’t truly a DC yuppie until you have attended the Leukemia Ball” (okay maybe they don’t say that, but you know what we mean). With a reception, silent auction, dinner, dancing and the possibility to win a Mercedes Benz, we think this is the perfect gala to begin the spring social season.
