What is your vetting process for the service providers? I speak with everyone. What we look for is passion about what they’re doing. Experience is the thing we look for the least. What we care most about is passion.  We do care about talent, but the point is here that you may be a junior in college and really talented but have no experience. We love finding those people that are really gifted but have had no way of getting themselves out there. And we look for professionalism. Passion, talent and professionalism are what we look for.

People have referred to Fortique as the Etsy for the creative world. Can you explain this? What I love about Etsy is that it has built this ready-made platform that if tomorrow you want to start a business selling socks you could. That’s what we want to be for creative service providers. Provided you meet the criteria, then we want to give you this ready-made platform to plug into and sell your creative service.
