Other Details: Acclaimed political/social commentator Dan Savage hosted a book party at the W Hotel's POV Lounge to close out Capital Pride week on Sunday evening with his newest book,
American Savage. The W's in-house Bliss Spa provided massages to guests, many of whom indulged in the hotel's summer Grey Goose and Saint Germain cocktails. Savage rose to fame for his syndicated gay relationship and advice column,
Savage Love, and founded the
It's Get Better Project.
