Other details: On Friday, August 1st, Cesco Osteria chef and owner Francesco Ricchi and DC Brau CEO Brandon Skall hosted an early International Beer Day celebration at Piazza Beer Garden in Bethesda. Ricchi and Skall welcomed over 75 guests to the outdoor brew fest. Beer lovers sipped on hops from around the world including Franziskaner Weissbier of Germany, Murphy's Stout of Ireland and the District's own DC Brau Corruption. Guests noshed on Cesco Osteria and Piazza favorites such as the Fava Bean Crostini, traditional Arancini Rice Balls, Corn Fritters and Margherita Pizza while enjoying a presentation on the ins and outs of brewing beer by expert Brandon Skall.
