"Sofitel Revealed"

K Street framed Sofitel Where: Sofitel DC Who was there: Guests included DC bloggers Jennifer Lichty, Tammy of A Loyal Love, Carly Mallenbaum of That Girl Carly, K Street Kate, and Lacey Faeh of A Lacey Perspective. The special guest of the evening was Susan Behrends Frank, Associate Curator for Research at The Phillips Collection. Other details: On Tuesday, September 16th, Hotel Sofitel DC hosted the "Sofitel Revealed" art exhibition. Olivier Widmaier Picasso, grandson of Pablo Picasso and author of Picasso, Portrait Intime (Albin Michel/Arte éditions), curated the exhibit, hand-selecting the 30 photographs from the collection of Paris Match. Among the prized photographs displayed was a black-and-white image of Pablo Picasso eyeing a Dalmatian longing to climb upon his lap; Salvador Dalí seen sitting in animal exhibit at the Paris Zoo; Jeff Koons styling a BMW for the 24 Hours of Le Mans; Pierre Soulages crouching over a work in progress; Kees Van Dongen painting a posing Brigitte Bardot; and other striking images depicting Rene Magritte, Marc Chagall, Fernando Botero, Joan Miro, Jean Cocteau, Francis Bacon, and more! art art classic
