Other details: On Tuesday, December 2, Diageo introduced over 150 Washingtonians to it’s newest spirit, Deleón Tequila at an extravagant Gatsby-themed holiday party at the historic Maison Biltmore Manor
. Guests dressed in their Gatsby best as they were treated to an exclusive tasting of the new 100% Highland Blue Weber agave tequila, sourced directly from the lush Jalisco region of Mexico. Evoking the roaring 20’s and vintage speakeasy glamour, guests had access to two floors of the Manor where they enjoyed gourmet canapés, Diageo cocktails and live music from violinist Kendall Isadore. Washingtonians throughout the region will soon be able to savor the smooth spirit themselves as Deleón Tequila is now available city wide and at retailers including Lax Wine & Spirits, Rose’s Liquor and District Liquor.
