As we all know, Melania and Barron Trump stayed in New York City for the first six months of Trump's incumbency. Melania wanted Barron to finish out his school year at Columbia Grammar and this cost taxpayers $410,000 a day. It's difficult to calculate the accumulation of all of those costs by the time they moved to D.C., but we can say with certainty that just one month alone cost more than health care for transgenders. Look, it's sweet on Melania's end that she wants Barron to be well adjusted and happy, but how can she justify coddling Barron at a hefty price when her husband is taking healthcare away from children who need it so desperately?
