Rep. Aaron Schock Has A Geriatric iPod Playlist

by Rachelle Hruska · May 11, 2010

Rep. Aaron Schock may be one of the youngest in Congress, but his iPod playlist suggests that he really has been in a rigorous professional bubble to make it there. Not to say that my 10 most-played songs are much better, but this guy is publishing his! Maybe throw in a little something for the kids? MGMT? Vampire Weekend? No? Gospel Music it is. Anyway, the geriatric list from Politico is below....

Life is a Highway (Tom Cochrane)

Life is a Highway (Rascall Flatts): “Because once isn’t enough for a song this good,” Schock said.

O Happy Day – Gospel Song (artist unknown)

    Brown Eyed Girl (Van Morrison)

Bad to the Bone (George Thorogood)

    Follow Through (Gavin DeGraw)

Power of Love (Huey Lewis): “Listening to this makes me wish I could move as fast as Marty McFly does when he hitches a ride behind cars on his skateboard,” he said.

    Love in This Club (Usher)

    Let’s Dance (David Bowie)

Born in the USA (Bruce Springsteen)
