Other details: DC's premier family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration: Noon Yards Eve at The Yards! This free festival will transform The Yards Park into a holiday wonderland, complete with interactive activities for children and adults alike, including trackless train rides, inflatable moon bounces and games, stilt-walkers, magicians and more. The event will culminate with a countdown and balloon drop at 12 noon to ring in the New Year! The whole family can celebrate together at this festive event from 10am to 1pm and complete their afternoon with lunch at one of the many great restaurants in The Yards neighborhood.
