What are the pieces even the most strapped of pockets should splurge on?
Good stuff for your bed. A good mattress, good feathery pillows and brilliant white sheets (several sets of). A comfortable sofa, too. Oh, and good glassware! I suppose these are fairly basic things but they’re things that you use every day – good I think to have the best that you can afford.
