How would you describe your personal style? What inspires that?
My personal style is what I call "street mashup." I don't label things like "preppy" or "contemporary." I just like to bring it all together and make original outfits that make me look different than anyone else. I literally get inspired by skateboarders on the street Downtown or chic women on the Upper East Side, musicians/DJ's. I also read lots of style magazines and watch a lot of movies.
When DJs make music, they take two things and they mix them on turntables. Well, I like to do it the old-school way, so it's a mashup. My blog is like a fashion mashup, because I'll take a preppy style and make it really edgy.
