Your son Fulano is a quite the DJ superstar. Is there anything you've learned from him and his work ethic?
I constantly learn from my son. One of the things he is great at is separating work and play time. He is very serious about spending time with friends and family. He relishes in that time to relax after he has achieved a big career milestone. He is also very professional at all times, when he walks into the venue, he is ON. It’s show time, even if it’s merely sound check- he is focused. That really inspires me to stay on top of my game. He also loves to support charity and has supported Solving Kids’ Cancer, Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, VH1 Save the Music and Keep a Child Alive. His latest obsession is Pencils for Promise. I love that he wants to make charity a big component of his work so I support that and it mirrors what we do at Mama Glow too.
