Abigail Lorick is a New York designer, whose collection is the model for Eleanor Waldorf\'s collection on Gossip Girl.
-
Originally from Florida, Lorick moved to New York when she signed with Ford Models. She then started designing for T.S. Dixin, an experience she credits with learning how to design, produce, and sell a collection. It was the T.S. Dixin production manager who first proposed that Lorick design her own collection. When friends who worked in the Gossip Girl production department learned about her new line, they proposed the concept of having LORICK be the collection behind The Eleanor Waldorf Collection.
-
Lorick had her first fashion show in 2007; a feature in German Vogue soon followed, and LORICK has been greeted with positive reviews ever since.
-
Lorick herself has become a frequent fixture on the NY social scene, hosting a Gossip Girl party at the Tribeca Grand and an afterparty for Izzy Gold\'s birthday, always ready with tips on how to be a perfect Lorick Lady.
