Jessica Hendricks was born in Paris into an entrepreneurial family who raised her with a wide-eyed pioneering spirit for design and travel. While teaching English in South East Asia during her studies at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Hendricks traveled to Cambodia. She was fascinated by the tangled synthesis of both the beautiful, and heartbreakingly violent past of this small Buddhist country, and was inspired to create The Brave Collection, a line of jewelry to celebrate this unique community, and connect courageous women across the globe. She lives in Brooklyn with her fiancé and lots of tropical plants that make the city feel more jungle than urban.
