Despite being a fairly well-known bar among the local social scene since it opened several months ago, Stockton is an extremely difficult-to-find bar located on Wyndham Street. The challenge in finding the place is part of the experience, as Stockton channels the speakeasy vibe from the prohibition era. Its obscurity on a map is where this vibe ends, as once you find the place and make it through the door, the venue is slightly too glamorous and too large to be a proper speakeasy. Stockton is reservations-only and won’t take more than they can seat, guaranteeing everyone who goes a comfortable time. An extensive cocktail menu highlighting rum and whisky as key ingredients certainly facilitates a good time, and a food menu comprised of gastropub, fresh seafood, and comfort classics ensures that your stomach is satisfied.
