These are just a few of the many glamorous icons captured by Cecil Beaton, a British-born photographer who mingled with mid-20th century Manhattan’s artistic and social elite. The Museum’s of the City of New York’s exhibit, Cecil Beacon “The New York Years,” chronicles Mr. Beacon’s life in the theater, and is closing soon, so be sure and catch these stars while they still align.
