Be “spotted” tonight at the opening of “The Complete Spot Paintings 1986–2011” by Damien Hirst, an international exhibition spread across all of Gagosian Gallery’s locations, including New York, London, Paris, Los Angeles, Rome, Athens, Geneva, and Hong Kong. More than 300 paintings, ranging from half a spot to more than 25,000 spots, chart the progress of Hirst, an internationally renowned member of the Young British Artists (YBAs). If you watch the time, you can hit up all three of Gagosian’s opening receptions in New York. The gallery also offers “The Complete Spot Challenge”: visit all eleven locations and receive a personally dedicated spot print signed by Hirst.
