Probably the coolest part about the showcase is the nighttime sleepover. It's not everyday you can sleep in a gallery space. How did you guys come up with that aspect of "Into You," and how does it lend itself to the whole experience?

When we conceptualized “Into You” we wanted to put a big emphasis on comfort. When you go to a music festival, you’re generally signing up to be uncomfortable for the entire time you’re there - your phone is dying, you’re looking for a place to pee, you’re waiting in line, you can’t find your friends, etc.

“Into You” is meant to provide the opposite of festival discomfort - an oasis, a literal and figurative charging station. The sleepover went hand in hand with this, especially because it is so hard, stressful and expensive to find a place to stay in Austin during SXSW. We wanted to provide a cheap, and fun alternative for the artists in the event, as well as guests visiting Austin. Also, shout out to Casper to generously donating so many mattresses to us and making our ~*dreams*~ come true.
