For anyone who hasn’t been living under a rock for the past week, the hottest topic in pop culture news has been centered around the rapper’s newest music video “Famous,” inspired by the artist Vincent Desiderio’s piece “Sleep.” The captivating, albeit polemical, work is the truest encapsulation of a ‘genius’ going rogue. While Kanye’s claims that some of the wax celebrities used in the video were approved, the issue of including other well-known icons without their consent - namely Taylor Swift - has brought about a string of complaints, anger, and threats towards the shameless artist. Ironically, the video might’ve just been the best Kanye PR stunt yet. Still taking bets to see who will sue first
