Hitting Hollywood

Hitting Hollywood
-Just five days after her Neighbours contract expired, Margot headed to L.A., where she would find herself a part on the short-lived series Pan Am. -Despite starring Christina Ricci, the 1960s-set show about flighty flight attendants was cancelled after just one season, but that didn't derail Margot. -Looking on the positive side of things, the show's failure allowed her to audition for—and ultimately snag—roles in the films About Time and, of course, The Wolf of Wall Street. -At first, however, portraying a spoiled, sexy, gold-digging trophy wife wasn't quite up the actress' alley, but for the chance to work with Scorsese, she put her name in the running. Though, she admits,
"Honestly, I never expected that this would go any further than an audition tape."
